First I have to say this site is awesome! I never knew such a fansite existed, thank you for creating this. While I was waiting for my account to be approved I've been lurking around the site and the forum. As you might be able to tell from my username, I'm a big fan of the Crash Bandicoot series but Croc: Legend of the Gobbos was one of my very first games. I began playing through it again today and it will always be a classic. So yeah the site is great, I'm glad I found it when I did. It's good to know there are a lot of other fans of Croc too.

Hey all! Special thanks to Tyguy for helping me join the forum! My name is Mr. Gimmick and am a huge croc fan and grew up playing Croc 1 and 2. Since then I have become a collector of all things classic games and have found some interesting croc items over the years. I am looking forward to meeting you all and contributing to the threads !

Hello, thank you for approving my registration, I am OldClassicGamer (call me OCG for short), and I remember playing this franchise in past when games were new. I wonder do these Croc forums have any relation with ones that are now closed. Still, it is great that these are active.

Hello, thank you for approving my registration, I am OldClassicGamer (call me OCG for short), and I remember playing this franchise in past when games were new. Hello and welcome! I can remember when the games were originally released! Man, that makes me feel old... I'm afraid I don't know of any other Croc forums out there, so the answer is no, there's no relation. This one has been around since 2004, though, and I don't think there were any Croc forums before that - as far as I've ever known, this one was the first to exist.

Hello Forte Wily (Can I call you Forte for short?),nice to finally have a conversation with you. I asked because those other forums that are closed now were crocfans.net Since I saw here name crocfans, I thought there is a connection. I tried contacting admin known as Zane from those forums but no luck. I basically needed some Croc Music patch enabler he created. But oh well, now I am member here Perhaps that other forum site was inspierd by yours. Are you by any chance a Mega Man fan? (I am asking because of username)

Hello Forte Wily (Can I call you Forte for short?),nice to finally have a conversation with you. Yeah, calling me Forte is fine, haha. It's nice to meet you. Oh, wow. No, there's no connection at all. I've never even heard of that site. I'm sorry to say that I've never heard of the patch you're looking for, either, so I don't know where else you might be able to get it. Anyway, yes, I am a Mega Man fan. Are you one, too?

Actually I got a patcher later from a friend. I can share it with you if you want. I know you said no download links, but this is just a patcher that makes Croc 1 on PC with full PlayStation Soundtarck and without disc, and not the game itself. Of course if you say no, I will not upload it.
Oh yep. I am Mega Man fan as well. But not a fan of all series. I do not like Battle Network. I do however like all 8-bit and 16-bit games and Legends were pretty cool too. Which is your favourite MM game?

I have no need for the patcher myself - I don't use Microsoft Windows, so for me it's much easier to just emulate the PSX version to begin with. Since I've ripped that from my own CD, I don't need to use the disc, either. I don't know the license terms for the patcher, so I have no idea if it's ok for you to upload it or not. As far as Mega Man games go, I have several favourites, but like yourself I don't like every sub-series (I don't like Battle Network either, funnily enough, but I do like the music from that series). Most of all, though, I would have to choose Rockman & Forte. What's yours?

Ok then, since I am not sure about license terms for patcher as well, I wont risk it so it wont be uploaded (plus when I think about it, I am not sure will my friend that sent me patcher allow me either)
My favourite has to be Mega Man X. The first one from X series is also on my top 10 best SNES Games. I have not played Rockman & Forte but I would like to get it on eBay since my SNES plays both American and Japanese cartridges.

Mega Man X is another one of my favourites - nice choice!
I also really like Mega Man 6, as well, incidentally. The Rush adapters are great fun to use.
