Do you own a Wii, 360 or PS3??
My family got a Wii last year and it's fun but gets boring after a while and I prefer using gamepads to play games. Jumping around like a nut trying to get a character to move isn't what I'd like to do all the time. I bought a 360 this year on Halloween. Out of the three "current gen" consoles it was the best one for me. It has a big selection of games for everyone, unlike the Wii (which is aimed solely at families) and PS3 (which has almost zero games that aren't aimed at adults). Besides Little Big Planet and Ratchet & Clank (both of which I don't care for) the PS3 has no exclusive games I can think of that aren't first person shooters. There's SingStar too, but who cares? I hate first person shooters. There's extremely little variety on PS3, and I don't care about Blu Ray and HD and all that garbage.
Also I hate when people only judge games by the realness of its graphics. We play games to get away from the real world, not to simulate it.
So yeah. I probably dragged on there. Although the 360 is a great console (in my opinion the best of the three by far) my favourite console is still the PS2 and will remain that probably forever.

I own a PS3 and a 360. I bought my PS3 at launch (fanboyism, I tell you) and I've been extremely happy with it. I actually found more appealing exclusives in Sony's console, like Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet & Clank. I was actually surprised to find that MGS4 would become my favorite game of all time (seriously, I have no idea how any other game can top that), as I wasn't really hyped for it. Quite on the contrary, I bought GTA IV because I'm a fan of the GTA series, but a while after all the amazingly realistic things made my jaw drop, the game was a bit disappointing, especially lacking in what I like to call "fun". Then, less than a month ago, I bought a 360 because they had become so incredibly cheap, and because I have a few friends with 360s. Along with it came Lego Indiana Jones (shit), Kung Fu Panda (fun, but shit) and Need for Speed: Undercover (good looking, but shit). Then for Christmas, I got Gears of War 2, which I have come to like over these days. I still have my old PS2 though (just got God of War, yay). When I think of all the fun hours I've had with that machine... I also miss my old SDTV... 480 vertical dots of goodness. Now it's 720.

Just a Wii here. I have no interest in the others.
