Why is a parkway called a parkway if you actually don't run around in grass and swing on swings?

Does anyone know which levels in Croc 1 were spoofs, and of what? I really want to write this in the wiki, but I really don't know this stuff- by the way, Forte, would you mind if I used your Random Facts in the wiki? I would rewrite them, I would use the individual facts on the pages that suit them best, and, if you wish, I'd give you credit for them.
By the way, If anyone knows any other trivia, could you tell me? Thanks in advance!

Well, I know "Baron Dante's Funky Inferno" is a reference to "Dante's Inferno". ;D

As the secret level "Smash and See" it's a clue for how to pass the same level.

All of the trivia I knew and know is contained within the Random Facts page. Although I do not take part in wikis myself, I'm happy with these being quoted (or reworded) on your wiki, but please do provide credit and provide a link back to the Random Facts page wherever you quote/rewrite them. Do be sure to include Nic Cusworth's corrections, such as the one you quoted above, though, and please credit him as well in those cases - I don't believe I got around to revising the Random Facts page to include them. Oops. EDIT: Wait a moment. Before I actually grant any permissions, a thought just occurred to me. What documentation license does the wiki fall under, if any?

EDIT: Wait a moment. Before I actually grant any permissions, a thought just occurred to me. What documentation license does the wiki fall under, if any? My Croc wiki is only a branch off of Wikia- so it's sure to fall under a documentation license. I just asked about the specific license and should have an answer for you very soon. Speaking of licenses, I just did a little research and found out that the level License to Chill on Ice Island is a pun on the 1989 James Bond movie, License to Kill. EDIT: Upon more research I found out that Darkness Descends is a pun on the 1986 album of the same name by Dark Angel, Fight Night With Flibby is a pun on the 1985 videogame Fight Night, The Ice of Life is a pun on The Spice of Life a 1987 album by PolyGram, I Snow Him So Well is a pun on the once-popular song by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson I Know Him So Well, Arabian Heights is based on One Thousand and One Nights aka Arabian Nights, Leap of Faith is a pun on the 1992 film of the same name OR the saying 'a leap of faith', Life's a Beach is the pun on the saying 'Life's a Peach', Hassle in the Castle is possibly a pun on the 1969 Scooby-Doo episode of the same name, and Jailhouse Croc is a pun on Elvis Presley's 1957 Jailhouse Rock. Whew! Well, I might be incorrect on a few of them... I didn't include the levels we'd already covered or the ones I couldn't find a pun for.

All wikia wikis are licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, and so is the Croc wiki. Oh, by the way, guess what I figured out all on my own! I figured out that the level Be Wheely Careful is a pun! Yes, a pun on the term 'be really careful'! I'm so smart.

After hacking the game for a week I've found 20+ level names you guys haven't heard of, one of which is: "Gobbo Gobbo, let down your ware!" is a spoof of: "Rapunzel Rapunzel, let down your hair!" And the rooms that follow the first room in 'And so the adventure begins!' are all dubbed: Nice and Easy. Feeble's lair is titled: Tooty the Feeble (coz thats his name) and I have a list of 10+ beta room/level names as well as the possibility that there were going to be 6 worlds in Croc *giggles*

Actually, I've heard of all of that stuff, rex. As I've said previously, this sort of stuff is usually removed due to sucking, time-constraints, or infeasiblility, and going on experience it's most often the first one. Tyguy - I haven't looked into the particulars of that license just yet - I'll get back to you as soon as I've done so.

I haven't heard any of that! But I have to say that you were certainly right about why the levels were cut, Forte-the level 'Gobbo, Gobbo Let Down Your Ware' is a pretty lame level title. I'm glad it was cut.

All wikia wikis are licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, and so is the Croc wiki. Ok, that's fine then. I'm happy with that, as per what I said in my previous posting on the matter.
