Hurrah! I have finally built a Croc2D which is playable! It has a few glitches, and not all the intended features, but I'm glad it's in a playable state. The demo map is tiny; I'm exhausted from getting this to work, but thankfully, there is a very simple framework for expaning the map Glitches:Walking on lava is safe after initially draining you of crystals. Collisions are off. Collisions with dantini are especially off. Crystals may be trapped in scenery. Too easy to Tail a dantini. Tail animation doesn't show while jumping/falling. Missing features:Double jump Stamp Climb Screens:Download:.zip folder containing .exe and python runtime: www.stegriff.co.uk/Private/CROC/Croc2D.zip 1.94 mb

*breaths in awesomeness* What you have there is a very good start! And congrats, man! This is the second Croc fan game ever! (as far as I know) By the way, is there supposed to be sound? J'ecoute rien. Anyway, I highly recommend that you don't give this a story. Honestly, all fan game stories stink, so don't even try... I prefer to just jump in... Speaking of which, if you make it longer, I'd very much appreciate a save feature. ;D EDIT: Too easy to Tail a dantini. Dude, what are you talking about? It's almost impossible to kill them! I would actually suggest that you scrap the tail attack and kill them by jumping on them Mario style! Much better for a 2D game. Oh, also you can probably use music from here: www.vgmusic.com/music/console/sony/ps1/index-af.htmlScroll down to the "Croc: Legend of the Gobbos" section. (That is, if you want to add music at all.)
