Yo! Do you think there should be a new Croc game for Wii? Or maybe a port of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, but with better graphics?

Of course But still, the chance of it happening is smaller than finding birthday cakes on Jupiter. Since the series is getting quite old and the game studio went bankrupt, I won't hold my breath, although a port of LotG would be awesome!

Meh, I wouldn't want a remake. Personally, I wanted to see what the Croc racing game was like!

I mean no disrespect whatsoever to the Croc team, but hopefully the Croc racer was a bit less stiff to control than the racing bit in Croc 2 seemed to be.

It seems all platformers need racing games, but I can't see it happening for Croc especially since the team went out of business. Why for Wii, anyway? It could be cool but as Per M said, it's highly unlikely.

Why Wii you say? I guess because Wii is the current console generation's fun box. The PS3 and 360 are great, but Croc really doesn't need to be in HD, and since Croc is very appealing to kids, one would probably use the system targeted, in large part, for kids (so at this time, it's probably either Wii or the good ol' PS2).

Ah I see what you mean. PS3 and 360's games are mostly targeted towards adults (although kids play them). Wii and PS2 would be good, and a handheld version (DS?) would be nice as well. Unfortunately it seems impossible but it would be AWESOME. A remake, a 3rd game or a racer, whatever it is, I'd love it to be made.

Yeah, a DS version would work, with the A/B/X/Y controls, but what about the touch screen? What kind of control scheme would the touch screen (The bottom one) have?

Okay, so it would never happen, but it's still fun to think about. ;D

Croc 1 and 2 ports on DS! That would be good. There's no love for cartoon platformers these days. I mean, Mario, Sonic, Crash, yes... But ten years ago there was Croc, Gex, Bubsy and many others. Sure most of them failed but I liked when there were so many of those games around. Nowadays a lot of people see first person shooters as the definition of video games.
Tooncroc, Rayman DS (a remake of Rayman 2) had an optional touch screen control system. You drag a circle on the touch screen in the direction you want to move. But you don't have to use it, you can use the normal buttons.

Ugh. I remember playing Mario 64 DS, and it is no fun compared to playing it on the console. I tried both the arrow key and the touch screen, but when it comes down to it, they aren't nearly as fun to use as a good old joystick. I think DS games should stay 2D...

I think it would be interesting if there was a Croc for Wii, DS, and also Game Boy Advance.
In Game Boy Advance, the game could be a spin-off of the series with 32-bit graphics and some extras.
In Nintendo DS, a adapted Croc 3 or a spin-off could be done, but with more interactive features (Touch Screen interaction with stylus).
In Wii it would be a Croc 3. Controls could be improved, and the graphics just a bit. For example, doing a fast circle with the Nunchuk could be the Tail Whip and in the Wii Remote we could listen Croc yell.
These are just my ideas, I could even do sketches for them.

Why is a parkway called a parkway if you actually don't run around in grass and swing on swings?

I think they're great ideas. I love the one you had for Wii! But there is already a Game Boy Advance Croc game- two, actually. They are really Game Boy Color games, but you can play them on a Game Boy Advance.

They are really Game Boy Color games, but you can play them on a Game Boy Advance. But the Game Boy Color games are adapted versions of the games it-self, and in 16-Bits, not 32. Another idea I had for the interaction on Wii could be A button to jump and a fast vertical movement of the Wii Remote (Up to down) to stomp. I think I'm going to give a try to do some sketches this weekend.
