I know why. The series is currently more-or-less in limbo, as the rights have (to the best of my knowledge) now reverted to one person and not to an entire development studio. As I'm sure you know, Argonaut met its end about four years ago. A petition won't do anything, I'm afraid, because there's no developer to actually address it to.

That is a good question, who does have the rights to Croc now?

Why is a parkway called a parkway if you actually don't run around in grass and swing on swings?

Whoa, really? Who woulda' thunk? I sure didn't. How sad. Maybe we could contact the guy, then maybe we could do a petition? I've thought about it for quite awhile now, but I've never gotten around to it.

In a way, a discontinued series is better than a ruined series. If it continued on a larger scale, they would probably have to make everything cool. Today's crowd would probably think it too cute.

For what it's worth, to the best of my knowledge, the rights are now back with Jez San (the guy who originally founded Argonaut).
That said, I'm very inclined to agree with Sonicroc on this. Although, if a developer with artistic integrity and the ability to stick to their guns handled it, who knows? (There are still a few...)

Hey, I still think a petition is a good idea. I've heard that Jez San is still in action, making video games...

Well, I'm not in the business of contacting anyone on such matters, personally. If you guys think it's a good idea, though, I wish you the very best of luck.

Well, why don't we find one? I once read a review for it. The title sentence was: I don't know if they were making fun of Croc, but I think it's a wonderful way of describing it, and that's exactly what a developer should 'stick' to.

I've thought about it for quite awhile now, but I've never gotten around to it. I crack myself up with how immature I sound. I know I'm really not all the way mature, but I hope I don't act like this now... EDIT- Sorry for the double post... I figured it was okay, cause my other post was three years ago, soo...

I'm pretty sure we all sound stupid when we go back and read old posts. That's one good / bad thing about the internet: Your past self is sort of preserved. It's almost... creepy. *reads this post in the year 2036*
