Heh, I just babble it's nothing special really. And yeah, I actually own a few games: Croc 1 Croc 2 Oddworld Abe's Oddysee Oddworld Abe's Exodus Carnivores 1 Carnivores 2 Heart of Darnkness Trespasser They were all hard to re-acquire all these 10 years later... I guess the games should all be having 10th anniversaries now like Trespasser did in October last year on it's main fan-forum.

Sometimes I play Croc just to stare at the backgrounds or watch the intro (which doesn't play very well... ) You mean the sound plays slightly after it should? Because I'm having that problem, and it's very annoying... Anyway, I like the older games too, which is why I like little kid games like Fatty Bear. Oh! Dude, I remember that game! Haven't played it in years, though...

Why is a parkway called a parkway if you actually don't run around in grass and swing on swings?

Because I'm having that problem, and it's very annoying... YES, that problem. And in some cases the sound plays a good 15-20 seconds after the actions. I've never seen the intro with the sounds synchronized with the music... I wonder what's wrong with it? Is it that way on all PC discs? (I'm assuming you have PC, SoniCroc).

Yep. But it used to work fine on my old computer.

Funny how these problems surface years later... I can also confirm that machines from the time ran the cutscenes with the correct timings. The problem sounds a lot like what happens when you run the PAL version of the game on an NTSC console - I've tried this with the Sega Saturn version (the Saturn I have now is Japanese, due to the higher volume of software available, and the relative ease of running games from other regions on it), and the timing goes out completely quite quickly (you never get to hear the end of the intro, either). I know that the issue with the Microsoft Windows version is more to do with ever-increasing processor speeds, though.

My cutscenes (PC) all jump to about halfway or the last frame >.> It works a little better with the Croc CD in the CD Drive but still...

Speaking of which, why doesn't the orange jester dantini in Croc 1 have a mouth? He doesn't?? That's weird! Yeah, he doesn't. Maybe for stetical reasons. XD Sorry for quoting such old posts, here, but I've finally gotten the time to start playing through Croc 1 again, and I'd just like to say that he *does* have a mouth. Both screenshots taken from the PlayStation version. This is visible in the Saturn one as well.

Heh heh. Whoops. In my defense, I didn't agree...
